There is no VisionFive 3: StarFive's 2026 launch is the server-oriented Dubhe-100 RISC-V IP, and the SBC line only moved to the VisionFive 2 Lite (crowdfunded 2025-08, in production 2025-10). rvspace separately claims native OpenWrt support (not a distro id).

Pitfalls
- Don't apt dist-upgrade: CNX upgraded 207 packages and after a reboot gnome-shell pinned a core and the system became nearly unresponsive
- The GPU firmware rgx.fw often fails to load (PVR_K errors); 3D acceleration depends on firmware matching the image
- Performance is roughly Raspberry Pi 3B level (JH7110S at a reduced 1.25GHz) — not for heavy loads
- This is a cut-down VisionFive 2, not a VisionFive 3
